Rotondes has invited La Concierge to curate its 6th Triennale Jeune Création which will take place from Friday June 26, 2026 to Sunday August 30, 2026. Titled Common Ground, the collective exhibition invites artists to explore the politics of visibility, cultural expression, and collective experience.

Common Ground draws inspiration from the underground nightlife scene, where societal norms are set aside and individuals come together through music and art. These environments embody freedom, self-expression, and unity, grounded in mutual respect and inclusivity. Like the dance floor, where strangers move in sync despite their differences, we envision a space where everyone regardless of social background, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, nationality, disability, neurodiversity or personal beliefs can come together freely and safely.

In Luxembourg and the Greater Region, multiculturalism is an integral part of our social and cultural landscape – but does this multicultural experience truly manifest in our daily lives? Or has it been made invisible by dominant norms? How do we make space for more voices, more identities, and more forms of artistic expression?

The call

As Common Ground focuses on diversity, inclusivity, and multiculturalism, we are calling on artists to reflect on these values in their work, offering proposals that:

  • explore personal and/or shared identity;
  • engage with inclusivity, community, and belonging;
  • reflect on representation within underground and/or marginalised cultures;
  • celebrate individuality and/or collective experience;
  • imagine new, intersectional ways of coming together.

This is a call to rethink how we engage with diversity, both within the arts and society at large. How do you define inclusivity in a world shaped by individualism? How can art serve as a unifying language, reflecting the full spectrum of human experience: a common ground?

The application process

The call is addressed to early-career artists who have not yet had a major exhibition and who have a connection with Luxembourg or the Greater Region (nationality, birth, place of residence and/or work).
