The GRACE Project – Interreg VI Greater Region (GRACE stands for Greater Region Artistic and Cultural Education) unites 25 sociocultural partners from Belgium, France, Germany, and Luxembourg, including Rotondes.

Over a three-year period, it aims to develop artistic and cultural education through joint cross-border activities for residents of the Greater Region. The project’s goal is to strengthen the sense of belonging to this shared territory and empower everyone to connect with their cultural heritage.

GRACE seeks to engage the public in artistic practices through urban art, live performances (theatre, music, dance, circus), and digital art. The partners also organise initiatives related to the Greater Region’s identity, featuring artists who creatively challenge the role of the audience within their works.

To reach a wide audience, including vulnerable populations (people with disabilities, seniors, residents of disadvantaged neighborhoods, etc.), the project will prioritise developing new inclusive formats, particularly for workshops and exhibitions. Through its activities, GRACE promotes multiculturalism, multilingualism, intergenerational dialogue, and environmental consciousness within the Greater Region.

GRACE will also serve as a platform for exchange and collaboration among partners, enabling them to develop new artistic and cultural education techniques and methods.

THE ROLE OF ROTONDES / THE PERFORMANCES

Rotondes is dedicated to making a real difference in the GRACE project and is strengthening partnerships with other organisations in the Greater Region. This will allow Rotondes to offer a lineup of performances that are both inclusive and innovative, perfectly reflecting the project’s goals. This season, audiences can discover five shows that embody this approach:
