In the Turn On exhibition, turntables take centre stage: they’re the engine behind phonotrope animations – visuals generated by spinning records.

Using mirrors, phone screens, and other visual tricks, visitors are drawn into stories that unfold frame by frame as the records rotate.

Turn On has plenty of surprises in store and more than one trick up its sleeve!
