Covid-related measures

Our latest information on the virus and its impact on Rotondes and its events

We are taking all the necessary steps to follow health regulations and keep you safe during this time. Here are the measures currently applied at Rotondes. 

As the situation might change with short notice, please check our website regularly for the latest updates. You will also find them displayed at our events.

I. Documents to show to access Rotondes events


Anyone over the age of 12 years and 2 months who


a) is vaccinated AND boosted, or has been vaccinated or cured
within the last 180 days

Must present the following documents:

  • a CovidCheck certificate with a valid QR code (digital or paper version); and
  • a valid identity document with photo.

b) has been vaccinated or cured
for more than 180 days (not boosted)

Must present the following documents:

  • a CovidCheck certificate with a valid QR code (digital or paper version);
  • a valid identity document with photo; and
  • a negative test certificate (PCR or antigen) or a negative self-test performed on site.

c) is not vaccinated or not cured

No access will be granted to any event.


Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons must present a certificate of contraindication to vaccination, as well as a certificate of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR, certified antigen test) or, if necessary, perform a self-test on site.

Children under 12 years of age are exempt from these rules.


II. Extra condition for performing arts shows and exhibitions


For performing arts shows and exhibitions, wearing a mask inside is mandatory for anyone over the age of 6 years.


III. Specific measures for school groups


The CovidCheck regime is not applicable to cultural educational activities for school groups, be they performing art shows, tours of exhibitions, cultural events, screenings or other activities. Social distancing and limiting the number of participants are not required.


IV. Specific measures for Labos and workshops for the general public

(over 10 persons)(does not apply to school groups) 


Extra condition:

When taking part in a Labo or a workshop, wearing a mask inside is mandatory for anyone over the age of 6 years.


Documents to show to take part in workshops


Anyone between the age of 12 years and 2 months but younger than 19 who:

a) is vaccinated AND boosted, or has been vaccinated or cured
within the last 180 days

Must present the following documents:

  • a CovidCheck certificate with a valid QR code (digital or paper version); and
  • a valid identity document with photo.

b) has been vaccinated or cured
for more than 180 days (not boosted)

Must present the following documents:

  • a CovidCheck certificate with a valid QR code (digital or paper version);
  • a valid identity document with photo; and
  • a negative test certificate (PCR or antigen) or a negative self-test performed on site.

c) is not (fully) vaccinated

  • a PCR test certificate (48h) or a rapid antigen test (24h); and
  • a valid identity document with photo.


Anyone over the age of 19 years who:

a) is vaccinated AND boosted, or has been vaccinated or cured
within the last 180 days

Must present the following documents:

  • a CovidCheck certificate with a valid QR code (digital or paper version); and
  • a valid identity document with photo.

b) has been vaccinated or cured
for more than 180 days (not boosted)

Must present the following documents:

  • a CovidCheck certificate with a valid QR code (digital or paper version);
  • a valid identity document with photo; and
  • a negative test certificate (PCR or antigen) or a negative self-test performed on site.

c) is not vaccinated or not cured

No access will be granted to any event.

Please note:

  • We kindly ask you to arrive at least 20 minutes early to our events to allow us enough time to check the certificates and perform self-tests (when required).
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory for anyone over the age of 6 years to access performing arts shows, exhibitions and workshops.
  • Wearing a mask remains mandatory in every situation for anyone over the age of 12 years and 2 months.
  • The seating capacity will be adjusted considering the size of the hall, the type of show and the time and date of the performance in order to allow enough space between groups/​families.


Conditions to access the Buvette


Access to the Buvette is only allowed to people satisfying the conditions of the 2G or 2G+ systems.

2G for people who have been vaccinated AND have received a booster shot, or have been vaccinated or cured within the last 180 days.

You must present:

  • a CovidCheck certificate with a valid QR code (digital or paper version); and 
  • an identity document with photo.

2G+ for people who have been vaccinated or cured for more than 180 days.

You must present:

  • a CovidCheck certificate with a valid QR code (digital or paper version); 
  • an identity document with photo; and
  • a negative test certificate (PCR or antigen) or a negative self-test performed on site.


People who have not been vaccinated or who have not recovered will not be able to access the Buvette or the terrace.

Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons must present a certificate of contraindication to vaccination, as well as a certificate of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR, certified antigen test) or, if necessary, perform a self-test on site.

We would like to remind you that, in addition to CovidCheck, social distancing, following precautionary rules, and particularly wearing face masks, remain efficient measures to help stop the pandemic.


Conditions to access the Rotondes site
excluding events and the Buvette

  • Compulsory face mask for anyone over 6 years old.
  • Respect social distancing rules between people or groups (at least 2 meters).
  • Take precautionary measures (wash your hands, cough in your elbow, etc.).
  • Follow guidance signs displayed on-site.

We would like to draw your attention to the following:

  • At all our events, we kindly ask the visitors to follow the seating plan and our staff’s recommendations. Please use the hydro-alcoholic hand sanitiser made available to you at the doors.
  • Contactless payments with debit/​credit cards are strongly encouraged.
  • For health and safety reasons, some of our services cannot be provided. This is the case of the cloakrooms, which will remain closed until further notice.
  • Common areas are regularly disinfected, with special attention given to bathrooms, door handles, etc.
  • Rotondes reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who refuses to undergo CovidCheck or identity check. Access may also be denied to anyone who does not comply with the health and safety measures listed above.
  • The implementation of these measures may result in delays or other inconveniences, and we apologise for this. You will find updates on how the situation evolves on this page. Thank you for your understanding.
